Way before I became a Mom, I knew I want to be a present one for my children as
much as possible, especially during their Golden Years.
I was taken aback when I realized I had to ask permission from my employer to nurse
my sick child.
I will not allow my days as a Mom to be dictated by some other party. Both my
husband and I had time demanding careers. With the future in mind, we decided on
career transitions to ensure we’re able to provide what our children truly deserve.
In 2014, I decided to move on from my full time position in broadcasting, which was
basically my dream job as a little girl.
I committed to focus on raising my babies and was home-based for about 4 years
before diving into the financial advisory industry.
I landed head first! But that’s another story!
I believe raising happy children shouldn’t be at the expense of the mother’s self-
development and fulfilment. I’m grateful to find a great partner in my husband and
together, we’re able to design and build the life we desire thru our purpose-driven
business, with the Freedom of Time as the greatest reward.
FTWM? SAHM? PTWM? WFHM?
Been there, done all of that!
And got a pair of permanent eye bags as souvenirs! HAHAH! True story!
Lots of syukur, now I HAVE THE CHOICE to spend my day as wished and win the best
of all roles.
Motherhood has always been linked to making lots of sacrifices. But I don’t want my
children to grow up thinking that I had to lose myself, give up on my own growth to
make room for theirs?
That’s ironic and far from sensible.
I wish for my children to pursue life with so much enthusiasm and courage to grow,
be neutral to the growth process, continously discover their best version.
I can only raise joyful and courageous learners when I show them how it can be
done. They will follow what we do more than what we tell them to, after all!
I believe mothers nowadays can win it all when we have enough CLARITY on what
we truly desire and have the courage to own our dreams and goals, without guilt,
resentment and regrets.
In this Age of Opportunity, there are abundance of choices out here offering
flexibility, enabling us to design the life we desire.
Choose what makes you happy and fulfilled!
Most importantly, our children deserve to know that they never stopped us in our
growth tracks. They need to know that they ARE in fact the reason and motivation
we rise up to become our best version.
At the end of the day, Our children need a HAPPY MOM , not a perfect one.

The beauty of motherhood and being an empowered mom inspired me to be
